When removing pages is the right fix
Documents often carry pages that should not be there: a blank page from a double-sided scan, a fax cover sheet, a duplicated page, an outdated appendix, or pages containing information the recipient should not see. Deleting them produces a tidier file and, when pages contain sensitive details, a safer one to share.
Selecting the pages to remove
Delete PDF Pages shows a thumbnail of every page so you can see exactly what you are removing. Click a page to mark it for deletion, hold Shift to select a run of consecutive pages, or type page numbers and ranges such as “2, 5-7, 12” into the box — the thumbnails and the text stay in sync.
The tool keeps every page you did not select and builds a new PDF from them in their original order. At least one page must remain; you cannot delete the entire document.
What happens to the rest of the document
Remaining pages are copied across as they are, so text, images, and quality are untouched, and the pages are numbered continuously from 1 in the new file. Document-level extras such as bookmarks that pointed to deleted pages are not carried over.
The result is saved as a new file named pages_removed_ followed by your original file name, so your original is never overwritten.
Important: removed pages are really gone
The deleted pages are not hidden inside the output — they are simply not copied into it, so the information on them is not recoverable from the new file. That makes this tool a sound way to remove sensitive pages before sharing. Keep your original file if you might need those pages later. Deleting runs in your browser, so the document is not uploaded.
